Chef Hoss Zaré has been in the restaurant business since 1986, but it wasn’t until the 2008 opening of Zaré at Fly Trap in San Francisco that he began to spotlight the wonderfully complex flavors of his native Persia with Mediterranean cuisine resulting in an exquisite combination of textures, ingredients, innovative preparation and presentation featuring contemporary Persian food.
